Overview

Geeker CarCare is a personal vehicle maintenance and fuel tracking app. We design the app to keep user data local-first. The app does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, user tracking, or location-based nearby shop features in the first release.

Data You May Enter

• Vehicle information, such as make, model, year, VIN, mileage, purchase information, and vehicle photos.
• Maintenance records, such as service type, date, mileage, cost, shop name, notes, and receipt images.
• Fuel records, such as date, mileage, volume, price per unit, total cost, and tank status.
• App settings, such as language, theme, units, currency, notification settings, and iCloud sync preference.

Camera and OCR

The app may request camera access only when you choose to scan a VIN barcode, take a vehicle photo, or scan a receipt. Receipt text recognition is processed on device using Apple's Vision framework. The app does not use camera access for tracking or advertising.

iCloud and Sharing

If iCloud sync is enabled, app data may be stored in the user's iCloud account through CloudKit. If you use sharing features, selected vehicle data may be shared with the people you invite through Apple's CloudKit sharing system.

VIN Decoding

If you choose to decode a VIN, the VIN is sent to the public NHTSA vPIC API to retrieve vehicle make, model, and year information. VIN decoding is optional.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app may schedule local notifications for vehicle maintenance or fuel-related reminders. Notification permission is requested only when you enable notification features.

Data Not Collected For Tracking

The app does not collect data for advertising or tracking. The app does not use App Tracking Transparency, advertising identifiers, third-party ad networks, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Data Deletion

You can delete vehicles and related records inside the app. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion may sync through iCloud according to Apple's CloudKit behavior.

Geeker CarCare 是一款个人车辆保养和加油记录应用。应用采用本地优先设计。首发版本不包含广告 SDK、第三方统计 SDK、用户追踪或基于位置的附近店铺功能。

你可能输入的数据

• 车辆信息，例如品牌、车型、年份、VIN、里程、购买信息和车辆照片。
• 保养记录，例如服务类型、日期、里程、费用、店铺名称、备注和收据图片。
• 加油记录，例如日期、里程、加油量、单价、总费用和是否加满。
• 应用设置，例如语言、主题、单位、货币、通知设置和 iCloud 同步偏好。

相机和 OCR

应用只会在你选择扫描 VIN 条码、拍摄车辆照片或扫描收据时请求相机权限。收据文字识别使用 Apple Vision 框架在设备端处理。应用不会将相机权限用于追踪或广告。

iCloud 和共享

如果你启用 iCloud 同步，应用数据可能会通过 CloudKit 存储在你的 iCloud 账户中。如果你使用共享功能，所选车辆数据可能会通过 Apple CloudKit 共享给你邀请的人。

VIN 解码

如果你选择解码 VIN，VIN 会被发送到公开的 NHTSA vPIC API，以获取车辆品牌、车型和年份信息。VIN 解码是可选功能。

通知

如果你启用提醒，应用可能会为车辆保养或加油相关事项安排本地通知。通知权限只会在你启用通知功能时请求。

不用于追踪的数据

应用不会为了广告或追踪收集数据。应用不使用 App Tracking Transparency、广告标识符、第三方广告网络或第三方统计 SDK。

数据删除

你可以在应用内删除车辆及相关记录。如果启用了 iCloud 同步，删除操作可能会根据 Apple CloudKit 的机制同步到 iCloud。
